The second shot requires avoiding the threat of bunkers scattered in the fairway. The green is set in a beautiful stone landscape, and a series of waterfalls are located between the 18th and 9th holes. This hole will give you a very memorable experience, if the first two shots are perfect, then you can choose a short iron strategy, which will give you a surprise and even catch the bird.

The Links course has always been known for its unique weather conditions, especially the changeable winds. 

We were lucky to have a gentle breeze at zero. The caddies said, This is almost the least windy day of the year. 

So, Links was very polite to us that day. Otherwise, the wind by the sea blows up, and it is very common to add 

5 to 10 poles to the scorecard. Considering the fickle wind at the seaside and the fluency of the guests playing 

in the daily operation of the course, the long grass of the Dongzhuang Links course is not deliberately left very 

long and thick, and the original wide fairways of the Links, when standing on the tee, you are still very confident.

Still, Links being Links, once the ball goes off the fairway and into the long grass, it's very difficult to deal with.

Even if you are lucky enough to find the ball, it is difficult to hit the ideal distance and trajectory in lamb grass,

which is famous for its twisting head. Even a single handicap master like Jack can have a hard time. Jack hit his

tee shot into the long grass on the left side of the fairway. It wasn't completely buried. He took out the wood 

and tried to get a shot. It was a beautiful shot, but the trajectory of the wood was low, and the ball bounced 

into the long grass on a hill not far away. Now he had to save a shot and hit the ball back into the fairway.

In fact, the unique long grass of the Links is only one aspect, we experience the Links course, think that the 

most difficult is the green, especially the stroke of the green. Because the wind was light that day, it was 

relatively easy to judge the distance when hitting the green. Even so, a couple of holes on the greens made 

us suffer. The next, the club's general Zhao also specially told that the green must be accurate, the first hole 

spent smoothly, to the second hole, the green gave us a Mawei. It's a battery green, iron on the green, Jack 

hit it beautifully, just off the side, looks like a birdie chance. My ball landed left of the green, I guess in the 

green ring or rough grass just off the green. As a result, both of us went on the green without finding our balls.

The greens at Links are very large, even a couple of holes are double greens, and the quality of the grass 

is good. Although the greens are large, they are also very undulating. Jack's ball rolled down the slope of 

the green and down the right slope. My ball was exaggerated, I looked around the green and couldn't find it, 

but the caddie had experience and said, Sir, your ball is under the green. When I saw it, it wasn't. The grass 

was perfectly trimmed on the side of the green, and the ball missed the green and rolled back down the slope 

to the left. Leaving an extremely wide drop of about 30 yards. Therefore, although the wind is not polite, it is 

not easy to play well in Dongzhuang.
